21st July 2025

●Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Taiwan officially launched the VWCV Multivan TDI, with a suggested retail price starting from NT$2.07 million.

●PG Union announced that the all-new, fully redesigned Peugeot 3008 and 5008 have received over 450 orders, with all July allocations sold out.

●Daimler Trucks Asia Taiwan, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Highways’ Training Institute under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, has introduced the all-electric heavy-duty truck Fuso eCanter as a training vehicle, making it the first public sector unit in Taiwan to adopt electric heavy trucks.

●Nanyang Industries showcased the Hyundai Elec City FCEV hydrogen fuel cell low-floor bus at the 2025 Taiwan Hydrogen and Electric Bus Net-Zero Mobility Forum hosted by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center.

●Hotai Motor announced that the first meet-up event of the “2025 Toyota Granvia Happy Journey” will take place on 22nd August at “Chateau in the Air” and  “Pouyuenji Hills” in Miaoli.

●Jaguar Land Rover Taiwan officially announced that the SV Bespoke premium customization service now includes the Range Rover Sport SV model.

●Hotai Motor revealed the results of the lottery draw for the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser, limited to 100 units. Over 2,500 participants entered the draw, and selected winners will have priority purchase rights.

●Porsche Taiwan announced the grand opening of the new concept store "Porsche NOW Eslite Life Tainan," operated by the Suntek Motor Group.

●HDRE’s charging operator brand Star Charger announced a collaboration with Taiwan Railways Corporation to officially launch the Eastern Railway Charging Network.

●Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Taiwan officially announced the suggested retail price of the Volkswagen ID. Buzz six-seater version starting at NT$2.398 million, with the two-tone version priced from NT$2.486 million.

●Pan German Motors announced that Mini Hub Taipei will officially be stationed at Xinyi A19 from 25th July to 17th August.

●VicOne and U.S.-based automotive cybersecurity company Block Harbor announced they will co-host the 2025 Global Vehicle Cybersecurity Competition (VCC) online from 22nd to 25th August and 29th August to 1st September. Participants will compete in a Capture the Flag-style format, engaging in offensive and defensive challenges within simulated scenarios. The competition scenarios are designed based on real-world threats and defense strategies faced by connected vehicles and software-defined vehicles (SDVs).
