29th July 2024

●Volvo Cars Taiwan is invited for the first time to participate in the 2024 AI Taiwan Future Commerce Exhibition.

●Sime Darby Auto Kia announces that 18 Kia commercial vehicle showrooms nationwide have completed the new CI upgrades. By the end of 2024, this number is expected to grow to 24 with the new CI 2.0 upgrade, and Kia's commercial vehicle maintenance and service points will also increase to 35.

30th July 2024

●China Motor Corporation announces that by 31st August, Mitsubishi vehicles identified by their service centers as being damaged by Typhoon Gaemi flooding can receive purchase discounts on new Mitsubishi models. Passenger vehicles such as Colt Plus, Grand Lancer, Outlander, Zinger, Eclipse Cross, and Eclipse Cross PHEV will be offered at an 15% discount, while commercial vehicles like Veryca, Delica, and P350 Hybrid will be offered at a 10% discount.

●Audi Taiwan announces special discounts on genuine Audi parts and repair labor for owners whose vehicles were damaged by the typhoon, effective immediately until 31st December 2024.

●Grandwell Motors officially unveils the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II.

●The new car sales numbers for July are released, with a total of 45,678 units sold. The number of registrations grew by 9.8% compared to the previous month and by 7.8% compared to July of last year.

●Škoda Taiwan officially launches the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe electric SUVs. The models and suggested prices are: Enyaq 85 starting at NT$1,638,000, Enyaq Coupe 85 starting at NT$1,718,000, and Enyaq Coupe RS starting at NT$1,988,000.

●JetTek Auto Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of JET Optoelectronics Group, announces the grand opening of the new Suzuki Taipei Nangang Showroom and Service Center, built with an investment of NT$10 million.

●Luxgen announces an OTA upgrade for the n⁷ LuxClub car networking remote control function.

●Yulon Nissan announces that after the last 30 units are sold, the Nissan Juke will officially exit the Taiwan market.

●Formosa Automobile announces a collaboration with European bus brand VDL to launch the SB-4000 commercial bus chassis.

●Nanyang Industries announces that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has arrived in port and is ready for delivery.

●Sime Darby Auto Kia announces that the Kia Ceed Sportswagon Luxe Edition and the Sportage 30th Anniversary Edition have all sold out within one month of their launch.
