●Fair Trade Commission approved Yulon Finance Corporation’s investment in Line Taxi to develop MaaS (Mobility as a Service).

●The government of California, USA ordered Cruise’s Robotaxi to cut half of the operating cars in San Francisco due to multiple accidents.

22nd August 2023

●Hotai Motor revealed the 2nd generation Lexus LM, and the trim levels and the starting MSRPs are LM 350h 7-seater (NT$ 4,290,000), LM 350h 4-seater (NT$ 5,650,000), LM 500h 6-seater (NT$ 4,590,000) and LM 500h 4-seater (NT$ 5,950,000).

●Sime Darby Auto Kia introduced the MY2024 Kia Stonic that the 1.4L natural aspirated petrol engine has been cancelled, and the trim levels and the starting MSRPs are 1.0T “智慧油電時尚版” (NT$ 799,000), 1.0T “智慧油電驚豔版” (NT$ 859,000) and 1.0T “智慧油電” GT-line (NT$ 889,000).

●MSI announced to showcase the intelligent EV parking system on Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robot Show.

●National Development and Reform Commission of China approved Xiaomi’s plan of manufacturing electric vehicles.

24th August 2023

●Hotai Motor began the pre-sale of Toyota Yaris Cross, and the trim levels and the starting MSRPs are “享樂版” (NT$ 725,000), “酷動版” (NT$ 765,000) and “潮玩版” (NT$ 835,000).

●Mercedes-Benz Taiwan introduced the 2nd generation Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé, and the trim levels and starting MSRPs are GLC 200 4MATIC Coupé (NT$ 2,890,000) and GLC 300 4MATIC Coupé (NT$ 3,300,000).

25th August 2023

●Mazda Motor Taiwan introduced the MY2024 Mazda3, and the trim levels and the starting MSRPs are 20S Sedan (NT$ 798,000), 20S Carbon Edition Sedan (NT$ 868,000), 20S Carbon Edition Hatchback (NT$ 878,000), 20S Premium Sedan (NT$948,000), 20S Premium Hatchback (NT$ 958,000), 20S Signature Sedan (NT$ 1,018,000) and 20S Signature Hatchback (NT$ 1,018,000). And the price of the Carbon Edition+ Package for20S Signature is NT$ 20,000.

●Porsche Taiwan revealed the facelifted 3rd generation Porsche Cayenne, and the trim levels and the starting MSRPs are Cayenne (NT$ 3,690,000), Cayenne E-Hybrid (NT$ 4,480,000), Cayenne S (NT$ 5,320,000), Cayenne Coupé (NT$ 3,910,000) and Cayenne S Coupé (NT$ 5,630,000).
