● Hotai Motor announced that the “2026 HIACE CAMPING – HiKa Camping Fun” event will be held from 28ᵗʰ to 29ᵗʰ March at the Eastern Bald Cypress Lawn Area, Lihpao Land, Taichung.

10ᵗʰ February 2026

● The Taiwan Transportation Vehicle Manufacturers Association (TTVMA) called on the government to carefully evaluate the structural impact of reducing tariffs on U.S.-made imported vehicles and opening the market. The association warned that such a move could have wide-ranging effects across Taiwan’s automotive industry supply chain and urged the government to implement comprehensive supporting measures.

11ᵗʰ February 2026

● Tesla Taiwan officially launched the nation’s largest V4 Supercharger station at the Taipei Dome, while also unveiling Taiwan’s 700ᵗʰ special-edition Supercharger site. During the grand opening, Tesla offered three consecutive days of limited-time free charging for Tesla owners. Tesla Taiwan stated that it has established 115 Supercharger stations nationwide and plans to expand the network to 125 stations by 2026.

● Hotai Motor announced that the “2026 HINO Safe Driving Elite Event” will be held on 14ᵗʰ, 15ᵗʰ, 21ˢᵗ, and 22ⁿᵈ March at the Automotive Research & Testing Center (ARTC). Nearly 400 HINO owners will be invited by dealerships to participate, making it the largest commercial vehicle safe-driving experience event in Taiwan.

● EVOASIS introduced a new NT$88 per month subscription plan, allowing members to enjoy a 10% discount on charging at more than 91 stations nationwide. EVOASIS also announced that it currently operates 135 stations with 650 fast-charging connectors, expects to expand to 1,000 fast chargers by 2026, and—together with 800 AC chargers—has surpassed 1,400 charging connectors nationwide.

12ᵗʰ February 2026

●Nanyang Industries launched a V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) fast charging roadside assistance service for electric vehicle owners.

●Sime Darby Auto Kia Taiwan announced that it has received the “Partnership of the Year” award from Kia headquarters, becoming the only market in the Asia-Pacific region to win the honor. In addition, its New Taipei Zhongheand Kaohsiung Minzu showrooms were both awarded the 2025 Kia Platinum Prestige Dealer Award.

13ᵗʰ February 2026

● The Executive Yuan announced the outcome of negotiations under the “Taiwan–U.S. Reciprocal Trade Agreement”, confirming that import tariffs on passenger vehicles manufactured in the United States will be reduced to zero.

● Yulon Nissan announced that it has initiated evaluation and response planning following the policy change reducing tariffs on U.S.-made passenger vehicles to zero. As import cost structures undergo a significant shift, Yulon Nissan will engage in closer communication with Nissan headquarters to assess future product introductions and pricing strategies, aiming to maintain market competitiveness while offering more attractive purchasing options to consumers.

● PG Union announced that following the signing of the “Taiwan–U.S. Reciprocal Trade Agreement,” which reduces tariffs on U.S.-manufactured imported passenger vehicles to 0%, the suggested retail price of the Jeep Wrangler will remain at NT$2.098 million, as announced at the brand presentation at the end of 2025. Delivery schedules will also proceed as planned, with shipments expected to begin progressively in the second quarter of this year.

●Tesla Taiwan, responding to the government’s announcement regarding tariff adjustments on U.S. imports, reiterated that prior to the clarification of Taiwan’s regulatory review, there will be no price adjustments for U.S.-imported Model 3, Model S, and Model X currently on sale in Taiwan. The Germany-imported Model Y also has no current plans for production relocation.
